I recently read through Ezra and Nehemiah and something struck me as currently relevant when going over the story of how the Jews reestablished Jerusalem and the Temple after the Babylonian captivity.
Evil men who wanted to thwart the plan of God, attempting to destroy the Jews’ efforts, enlisted the government in their plot. They used deception, half-truths and a distorted view of history in their conspiracy to oppress God’s people.
This conspiracy was exposed and defeated when God’s people had the records opened and reminded the powers that be of the written law.
Freedom-loving and God-fearing people who live in the USA have the law on their side. The Constitution mandates that elected officials and other public servants protect their rights. Those public servants are in rebellion, breaking the law with every drawn breath, and working to destroy what they swore to uphold, trusting in the deception of the lapdog media to cover their treason and spin it as something for the “greater good.”
We should have followed Nehemiah’s example 30-70 years ago. Now the lawful rulers of the USA (the citizens) are either themselves corrupted, deceived, ignorant, apathetic, or some combination of all four. Even if the apathy (in those not decieved, ignorant and/or corrupted) could be erased overnight, it is probably too late to save this country.
